Read John 15 verses 1-17. There is unbearable Truth in those seventeen lines.
It matters not what you believe, this passage speaks of a Love that, as incomprehensible as it may be, is attainable. It is in all of our grasps. Greater than any Love before it.
We are friends. Loving, supportive, challenging, nurturing Friends.
Lay down your pride to that undeniable Truth.
We may serve each other but we are by no means servants. We serve in response to a greater Love. We lift each other up in the hopes of spreading that greater love.
We aren’t forced to act and think and feel in this manner. No, rather it is innate. Protect one another. Lay your life down for your friends.
Look at the branches around you. Is the one you love dearly withering? Can you see it. Don’t let that branch fall, my friends.
Call out to that branch. There is so much life to be lived. So much love to be had. Too many wonders in this world to sink into a selfish hole.
Mumford and Sons’ Timshel has been playing while I write. HA!! God is good. Go. Read the lyrics. Better yet I will post them.
"Cold is the water It freezes your already cold mind Already cold, cold mind And death is at your doorstep And it will steal your innocence But it will not steal your substance But you are not alone in this And you are not alone in this As brothers we will stand and we'll hold your hand Hold your hand And you are the mother The mother of your baby child The one to whom you gave life And you have your choices And these are what make man great His ladder to the stars But you are not alone in this And you are not alone in this As brothers we will stand and we'll hold your hand Hold your hand And I will tell the night Whisper, 'Lose your sight' But I can't move the mountains for you"
Those Lyrics messed up my font. Oh. well.
Maybe it will post correctly. That is irrelevant though.
I am going to pray and think on what I have read and wrote.
I am sure I will write more But most likely not on here.
As Always My Dear Dear Friends
Much Love
