A little poetry here and there

So I wrote two poems. One on decisions and the other on resolutions. The first was written to express the anxiety, stress and discontent that making painful decisions often brings on. The second is to show what it is like once a decision is made, the right decision. they may be a little goofy but enjoy.

Much Love

Decisions

Options creep in towards my throat

They slink their way up and suffocate

Each Choice whispers about death

And I am cowering, waiting to be found

Resolutions

The musty curtain peels back from the windowsill

Sunlight conquers the indecisive shadows coating the walls

A familiar sweet odor of hope fills everyone’s lungs

And I am basking in its warmth sitting, calm and still.
